s[1] = "About Our Services^services.html^Our services are aimed at enabling adults with mental health problems to live independently by providing flexible, high quality, service user centred support. Services are delivered by our Support Teams which provide a dedicated support service to clients in their own homes focused around Individual Support Plans. Our Projects: Housing with Support Tai Esgyn manages a portfolio of furnished properties in Swansea and in Neath Port Talbot, mainly one bedroom flats & studio apartments, through partnerships with local housing organisations. This project is geared to the needs of individuals with enduring mental health needs, providing permanent furnished accommodation with support. Swansea Floating Support Tai Esgyn works with a number of housing organisation to support tenants with mental health needs. Our Floating Support Project supports individuals who have moderate or low mental health support needs who require time limited assistance to manage a tenancy. On average, we give support for a period on up to 2 years, depending on individual needs. Aberfa Floating Support Aberfa is a partnership housing and support project jointly managed by Tai Esgyn, Swansea Housing Association and Caer Las Cymru. There are 2 arms to the project; a Project House for five individuals with complex mental health needs who require 24 hours support, and a community project providing a floating support service for people living in their own homes, who have mental health support needs, ranging from moderate to very high. Tai Esgyn manages the community floating support arm of the project. Small Grants Tai Esgyn currently offers a limited number of small grants of up to £250 to individuals with mental health problems for a variety of welfare purposes to promote independent living. Grants can be for a wide range of needs including setting up a new home, improving or replacing furniture, household items, fittings, carpets, redecoration, to pursue a hobby or learning opportunity, short breaks, and for general welfare purposes, depending on individual needs and circumstances. Information About Tai Esgyn Tai Esgyn is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW). The CSSIW regulates and monitors Tai Esgyn’s services, can carry out investigations when necessary and undertakes inspections at least once a year.
